Why this is a target

AT&T's massive consumer subscriber base makes it highly vulnerable to boycott pressure. Consumers can switch carriers, and AT&T's brand awareness makes public campaigns effective. Its history of warrantless data sharing with government makes the surveillance-to-deportation narrative credible and well-documented.
